1945 - 1947 | Setting up of Good Shepherd Convent, an English school, as requested by the government, to educate girls whose education was affected by the war. Origin of school name- Marymount Convent School (MCS). Prayed for land at Thomson Road and obtained approval, in the month of Mary (end August), after months of prayer. |
